Exporting High-Resolution Image in Siemens NX Drafting

You can export technical drawings in the NX Drafting to high-resolution image formats such as PNG, JPG, TIFF, or BMP formats. But you might have resolution problems if you try to export an image file by using File => Export => Image command

To create high-resolution technical drawing image files from NX drafting files:

1. Start the “Plot” command.
   1. File => Plot
   2. Ctrl + P
2. The command dialog box will open.
3. Select an image format that will be created by using the “Printer” options.
   (TIFF, JPEG, EMF, CGM, PNG)
4. Change the file location where the image file will be created.
   1. Click on the folder icon near the “PNG image file” as shown in the figure.
   2. Select a file location.
   3. Click the “OK” button.
5. If you want you can change width and colors by changing the settings under the “Color and Width” tab.
6. Click on the “OK” button to create an image file.
