The Drafting application is used for creating engineering technical drawings for manufacturing processes.
To activate the Drafting application in the NX:
- Press “Ctrl+Shift+D” on the keyboard at the same time
- Click on the application icon in the “Application Ribbon Bar => Design Group => Drafting”
Basics of NX drafting
NX Drafting views are linked to the original model files. All the changes on the model will be applied to the drafting after you update the drafting.
Note: Do not forget to update the Drafting Sheets after the model is edited.
Important Note: Be careful about the projection angle before creating a technical drawing sheet. It might cause significant problems and mistakes in the manufacturing process.
